Peter, Bjorn and John

Swedish born Peter Morén, Björn Yttling had been playing together for 8 years before they finally met John met in 1999 and started a band the following year called simply "Peter, Bjorn and John".

In 2002 they released a self-titled album that got decent reviews, Rough Trade in London even said "nothing else sounds as good in Swedish pop right now".

In 2004 they followed up the debut album with "Falling Out" which received 4.5 out of 5 from allmusic.com and now in 2006 they released the fabulous "Writer's Block".

I heard the track "Young Folks" when I was recently in Denmark, sitting in some basement café that had amazing sandwitches. Hard to believe, but I havn't gotten the track out of my head since then! Download the track below and check out the video on the band's myspace profile.

  • Young Folks
  • Young Folks (Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve Re-animation mix)
  • Young Folks (Tomas Andersson remake)
