I just saw Tilly and the Wall playing a mini-gig in the 12 Tónar-shop in Reykjavík, where I'm blogging from. Wild Like Children was the first record released on Conor Oberst's Team Love label. They have a new record out; Bottom of Barrels.
The style is highschool happy-go-lucky with nice girly vocals and energetic kick-ass floor-stepping. Quite good.
This is the first blog-report from Iceland Airwaves festival, where I'm visiting friends and in general just having days off enjoying the country side and the incredible hospitality of the icelanders and their crazy attitude. Wedensday we attented a birthdayparty at a bar where everybody were stoned out of their mind due to eating magic mushrooms. It's the season, it's said.
