Breaking news: LCD Soundsystem will visit Roskilde Festival this year according to their MySpace site. This news is not announced in Denmark yet - as far as I know at least. But it's good news!The punk-fuelled rockers will fire up the danceflor on the opening night of Roskilde Festival - that is 5. july.
Their brandnew album Sound of Silver is a really rocksteady and exhilarating ride. The bass-lines are razor-sharp and the textures are very tight and James Murphy is cool as ever. It's upbeat and an essential album, so I'll bet it'll be a good starter for this years festival.

I love James Murphy, as well as anything that's DFA records. Ive never missed a single show here in London.People Love LCD Soundsystem here in Britain. Two albums of theirs were on the tom 40 charts.
Also, this year, i will be attending Roskilde Festival.
I think they are music geniuses! Especially Pat Mahoney, you know the drummer thats with them live?
