If you are so fortunate to live in Copenhagen - you can have an extraordinary spring and summer regarding originale female artists. Truely original female artists are in my eyes quite rare. But last week I saw a brilliant concert with Joanna Newsom. Read my review in danish here. In June the female rock-godmother Patti Smith and one of her followers, Tori Amos, will visit Copenhagen. (And last year the one and only PJ Harvey visited the local opera!)Apparently both Amos and Smith has a weakness for Nirvana. Try it out and find your favorite. I think Patti Smith's folk-version is the winner!!
And then Björk is coming to Roskilde 07!!
